Appeal and dispute letters
Challenges nearly always have a deadline. Recorded delivery gives you proof that you were in time.
Challenge a traffic fine
For challenging a traffic fine or notice. Quote the notice number and explain as concretely as possible why the fine is wrong.
Challenge a parking ticket
For a parking charge notice from a private operator or a penalty charge notice from a council. Say where and when you parked and why the charge is wrong.
Dispute an invoice
Received an invoice that is not right? This letter formally disputes it and puts on record why you are not paying.
Formal demand letter (letter before action)
Has a business failed to do what it agreed? This letter puts them formally on notice and gives a final deadline. Setting out your complaint and giving a last chance to fix it is normally expected before you take a dispute further.
